Inspiration: Life’s a Beach

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Inspiration.”

I find inspiration in many places: the word of God, the beauty of nature, the wonderful people around me, my sweet pets, experiences good, bad and ugly, the list goes on. I’m almost guaranteed to be inspired when I can enjoy a quiet and calm afternoon walk on the beach. The scenery is always familiar, yet never the same. There’s so much mental stimulation coupled with the soothing sound of the surf rolling softly unto the shore. If there’s a place to be one with God, this is it. As I found out, it’s also a place to deal with ghosts, sometimes even ghosts in the making, but even they’re not so scary when it’s the beach.

Mark 4:39

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
